Scope and content

Why are there leukemia cluster near many nuclear facilities? Why are cancer rates throughout the world increasing exponentially? How can we explain the increasing incidence of cot death and low birth-weight babies? Chris Busby argues that ionizing radiation - from nuclear fallout and radioactive waste - has been amongst the causes of these and many other serious illnesses and is responsible for many premature deaths. In the Sellafield leukemia trial it was accepted that there is a statistical link between nuclear power and cancer in children. But the case failed because no biological mechanisms could be found. Chris Busby has discovered what this mechanism is - in his second-event theory - and explains it in this book. (Klappentext)
