Scope and content

For over twenty years cross-cultural communication workshops have been held in various European countries. These workshops have aimed at applying the person-centered approach to cross-cultural communication by creating opportunities for people from many diverse cultures to meet together with the goal of improving personal communication and understanding. Little specific research and reflection on these workshops, as they have been experienced in Europe, has been published. Our aim is to partly fill this void by bringing together the ideas, experiences and reflections of some persons who have been involved in the application of the person-centered approach to cross-cultural communication.
