Der Themenkomplex "Migration und Männlichkeiten" kommt in der Öffentlichkeit allein in der Medienberichterstattung über Ehrenmorde, Jugendkriminalität oder religiösen Fanatismus vor. Doch auch im Geschlechterdiskurs ist Migration kein selbstverständliches Thema. Dabei könnte aus der Verknüpfung von "Migration" und "Männlichkeit" gerade die sogenannte "Ausländerpädagogik" großen Gewinn ziehen für eine interkulturelle Sozialarbeit.
