Die Umwelt-Lobby. Um die Anliegen der Umweltbewegung effizienter zu gestalten, schlossen sich im Jänner 1993 Greenpeace, WWF, Global 2000 und das Forum österreichischer Wissenschafter für Umweltschutz zu einer gemeinsamen Koordinationsstelle zusammen. Heute umfasst das Ökobüro 13 Mitgliedsorganisationen. Es vertritt die umweltpolitischen Interessen seiner Mitglieder, baut Brücken zu den öffentlichen Stellen, koordiniert das gemeinsame Vorgehen und dient als Informationsplattform für Umweltorganisationen und Bürgerinitiativen.
